Prime Registration - 2025 Spring

Make the most of Credo's training community: register for ONE training module only, according to where you are in the pathway.

PRIME TRAINING PATHWAY

JUMP-IN  
If you are brand new at Prime*, then do any of the jump-in modules first!  There is a jump-in module offered at each of the Prime hours.
(*If you are starting as a new Credo Grow Group Leader this Spring- you should do the specific Leading to Grow module first instead of one of the Jump-In modules.)

CORE 
After you have jumped-in to Prime, we then have a syllabus of four core modules offered sequentially over 4 uni sessions, which are designed to equip all in Credo through well-rounded ministry foundations (such as ethics and biblical theology). As core training, we aim to offer the core module for each uni session at four of the five Prime training hours, with the desire that all who graduate UTS from Credo will have completed all CORE modules! In Spring 2025 the core module is Living for Good (Ethics).

ENGAGING WITH...  
Mission-minded fruitfulness among particular background demographics. Only open to those who have done at least two prior Prime modules. In Spring 2025 we are offering Engaging with Islam.

SPECIFIC
Targeted training for those in particular roles or stages at Credo. Specific modules offered in Spring 2025 include:
Leading to Grow for new Grow Group Leaders beginning this Spring.
Departure Lounge for those finishing uni this year.
Next Level Leadership for those currently leading in Credo.

JUMP-IN - Gospel-Shaped Student

The good news of Jesus Christ is that we are not just rescued, but transformed also to become more like Jesus in every area of our lives. Through this module, learn what we are saved from, how to love who God has made you to be and for the truth of the Gospel to outwork itself into mission and service. 

  

JUMP-IN - Share Jesus

For anyone who wants to grow in their love for Jesus and in their ability and desire to share his great news through such things as testimonies, story-telling, questions and discussion, and more.

   

JUMP-IN - Abide in Christ

Essential to being fruitful as Christians is to cultivate our hearts and minds for authentic relationship with God. We will explore spiritual disciplines that help transform us with God's means of daily grace. 

   

CORE - Living for Good (Ethics)

Remember that mind-blowing realisation when you finally twigged that following Jesus is fundamentally different from doing a bunch of random rules?  Well, its time to take the next positive step to freedom by constructing a roadmap to integrate behaviour into virtue, and character virtues into a life of reordered hearts full of joyful love of God and neighbour.  

   

ENGAGING WITH .. - Engaging with Islam

A quarter of the world and many of our classmates follow Islam. It's often misunderstood and feared, but ignorance helps no one. This module will challenge Christians to engage socially and theologically with Islam.  

    

SPECIFIC - Leading to Grow

*Required training for all new Grow Group Leaders beginning this Spring.

Grow in vision, skills and confidence in leading your group. Learn to help others to grow through engaging with God's Word. Help grow the group as you reach and welcome others.

  

SPECIFIC - Departure Lounge

* For students in their final semester before graduating.

This module will be offered as a week by week module, and also as an intensive over a 2 day retreat.

If you are finishing uni this year and wanting to prepare for the next chapter beyond UTS, this module is for you.  We will explore a Christian approach to work, career, money, and everyday life (beyond church and family.)  Be primed for a theology of the other six days alongside a cohort other exiting students from Credo. 

Intensive Retreat: September 22-24, 2025. (From evening Sept 22 until afternoon Sept 24, during the mid-semester Stuvac break.)
Location = Katoomba / Cost = TBC

  

SPECIFIC - Next-Level Leadership (Full Day Intensive)
 

Those who aspire to be an overseer have a noble desire! (See 1 Tim 3:1). But a senior ministry role always brings unique problems and opportunities. This module is specifically for those currently serving in, being encouraged toward, or willing to consider taking on further senior leadership roles (whether in Credo or elsewhere).

A Full Day module held on campus.  Tuesday September 23, 9:45am - 6:00pm (with optional dinner afterwards)
Cost: $15
